Citizens Advice Stockport writes to PM about Universal Credit Hotline over Christmas period

Citizens Advice Stockport writes to Prime Minister Theresa May MP urging her to reconsider the decision about the Universal Credit hotline over the Christmas break.

In the letter, operations manager – Steve Hughes expressed his concerns that the essential service will only be avaliable for three out of ten days.

Steve welcomes the decision by Stockport Council to be open over Christmas and explains that the local Citizens Advice face-to-face service will be available but worries that families with difficult situations will not have the support they require.
