Citizens Advice Stockport announces a partnership with WTB Solicitors LLP to offer Family Law Legal Clinic in Stockport.
Starting this month, WTB Solicitors will be offering a free legal clinic from the Citizens Advice Stockport Fred Perry House office in Stockport.
Between April 2016 and March 2017, Citizens Advice Stockport dealt with nearly 800 relationship and family issues with the advice charity saying issues relating to relationship and family problems often cause other problems around Debt and Housing.
Steve Hughes, Operations Manager for Citizens Advice Stockport said:
“We are really pleased to be working with WTB Solicitors to provide this free legal clinic for relationship and family issues in Stockport. This area is a big area of work for us.
“Relationship and family issues often cause other problems such as debt, housing or benefit problems”
“I am really pleased that from this month, we will have this service available to clients and we look forward to supporting clients access this service.”
WTB Solicitors are a well-established firm of solicitors within the family law area and hold a legal aid contract to support victims of domestic violence.

“We are delighted to join together with Citizens Advice Stockport to offer this service. Citizens Advice are well known for the assistance they are able to provide to people who do not know where to turn for advice.
“The legal clinic will allow us to provide assistance to people to deal with issues which arise within families including divorce, children and finances. The legal clinic will be attended by Susan Johnson and Leonie Harris who are both experienced Family solicitors.”
